Held in the fields of St. Elizabeth farmer Dool Mcclean, and presented by the Pedro Plains Region, Island Outpost and Jake's, the Organic Farm Dinner saw attendees enjoying a four course meal that touted all ingredients grown locally and organically. Laura Henzell (left) serves farmer Dool Mcclean his entree namesake; "Chicken with Farmer Dool's Dill Sauce".
Joined by husband Mark Brooks (right), 'Eat Caribbean' cookbook author Virginia Burke declared the Organic Farm Dinner event "heaven."
Judging from the smiles displayed by Debbie Broderick (left) and Marie Matthews, we think we can declare "Jamaica's first Organic Farm Dinner" a success!
Fashion tip for the summer: work boots are the very essence of country chic! Liz Solms, project manager of the sustainable agriculture promotion project that includes Dool Mcclean's farm, shows off her footwear with Melissa Eldemire, sales and marketing manager for Island Outpost.
Dressed in typically trendy "Carrie" style, Michaella Wilson enjoys the strains of the live violin showcased at Smirnoff's presentation of the Sex and the City 2 at Carib Theatre.
The Abu-Dhabi setting of the movie was reflected by the Persian-costumed ladies who gave patrons coy, behind-the-veil smiles as they entered the theatre. Film and video director, Jay Will, is entranced!
The guys were out in their fashionable best as well. We caught these two with 'Cosmopolitans' in hand, the Sex and the City series' signature drink.
Feelin' the vibe on the dancefloor at Village Blues Bar's 'AllStar Thursdays'.
