Andrew Gallimore (right) views Mrs. Lallice Wheatle’s (left) cultural display at the National Council for Senior Citizens’ Cultural Day, held under the theme “Seniors Supporting Local Products”, on Wednesday May 27, 2009 at the Holy Cross Church Hall in Kingston. The products being promoted were banana, pumpkin, dasheen and cornmeal of which dishes and drinks such as dasheen drink, pumpkin punch, banana fritters and pumpkin pie were prepared by the senior citizens.
