WICB four-day regional tournament continues

Jamaica, sent in to bat, reached 74 for three in their first innings at the lunch interval on today’s opening day of the West Indies Cricket Board regional four-day tournament.

The match is being played at Sabina Park in Kingston.

Australia-born left-hander Brendan Nash is on 15 not out and captain Tamar Lambert on 5 not out.

Discarded West Indies opener Chris Gayle failed on his return to the squad. He was dismissed for two, while Donovan Pagon scored 23.

Kenroy Peters, Shane Shillingford and Garey Mathurin have taken the wickets to fall.

Jamaica are four-time defending champions.

Over at Windsor Park in Dominica, Guyana, sent in to bat by Leeward Islands, reached 23 for one at the interval in their weather-affected match.
