JNA cuts Under 16 squad

The Jamaica Netball Association (JNA) has reduced the Under-16 squad to 16 players, two months before the Jean Pierre Youth Championships.

The 2010 championships will take place in Barbados from April 8 to 18. The final selection will take place on March 5.

The squad now includes six shooters. They are Princess Brown, Sade Ffrench, Vanessa Jones, Trudiane Pennant, Chiquana Reid and Samantha Smith.

There are five center court players in Kelleisha Freckleton, Thristina Harwood, Adean Thomas, Jamalia Tulloch and Khadijah Williams.

The squad is completed by defenders Isha Bartley, Chrishena Copeland, Dhanyel Johnson, Azezas Mccarthy and Kaniela Riley.
